The Ukrainian Chapter of the world collectors society IBNS expresses its respect to you and would like to thank you for your attention to Ukrainian bonistics, namely for the issue of the following items:
- a commemorative 20 Hryven banknote “RUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN WAR. WE REMEMBER! WE WILL NOT FORGIVE!“
- a 500 Hryvnia commemorative banknote issued in 2015 to mark the 300th anniversary of the birth of Hryhorii Skovoroda,
- a set of collector’s banknotes signed by the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Kyrylo Shevchenko with the official symbols (identity) “30 years of Independence of Ukraine” on their front side.
We believe that these steps will contribute to a significant increase in the popularity of Ukrainian banknotes in the world. In our opinion, the popularisation of Ukraine’s banknotes around the world contributes to the improvement of our country’s image on the global stage in view of the war, as well as to the greater recognition of the National Bank of Ukraine in the world of bonistics.
We would especially like to note the popularity of the 20 Hryven commemorative banknote “WE REMEMBER! WE WILL NOT FORGIVE!” of the ЗС series with the numbers 0000001-0300000 of 2023, which is very popular among collectors in Ukraine and abroad.
Many collectors are eagerly awaiting in the 2023 release of the 20 Hryven commemorative banknote “Long Live Ukraine!” of the ЗС series with the numbers 0000001-0300000.
Taking into consideration the growing popularity of collectible ukrainian banknotes, we ask you to research the possibility of issuing
sets of circulating banknotes of Ukraine 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000 UAH
signed by the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Andriy Pyshnyi,
series AA with the numbers 0000001-003000,
and to add an additional surcharge of UAH 500 per set to the cost of the set of circulating banknotes.
If the decision is made to issue sets of circulating banknotes of UAH 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000 signed by the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Andriy Pyshnyi, series AA with numbers 0000001-003000, we also propose to transfer/raffle off sets of banknotes with serial numbers 0000001-00010 at a charity auction.
We attach the names of collectors who support this proposal to the letter
